Seba Colson Quintet
Bebop · Hardbop

With his new quintet, Colson pays tribute to his love for the jazz tradition.
The line-up is remarkable for its international but above all its intergenerational mix: Eric Ineke turns 80 in April 2027, while saxophonist Yo Hes is only 25 years old.
Together they form an energetic quintet performing Colson’s own compositions — music inspired by masters like Lee Morgan, Wes Montgomery, Charlie Parker, Dexter Gordon, Freddie Hubbard, Art Blakey, Cannonball Adderley and many more.
Album — March 2027, Timeless Records
In November 2025 Seba organised a Belgian tour with these musicians and, because of the line-up, decided to record it live — calling in his great friend and sound engineer Alice Van Biesen. She recorded, mixed and mastered the music. The album will be released early 2027 by the renowned dutch record label Timeless!
